Associate Member

is for organisations that intend to form a national parkour federation but are not yet acting as one.

Affiliate Member

is for national federations that are administering or governing parkour on behalf of their nation, but are not yet or cannot be officially recognised by their nation. An Affiliate Member is entitled to voting rights.

Full Member

is for national federations that are recognised as the governing body for their nation. A Full member is entitled to voting rights.

Community Organisations

Organisations from nations who do not have a formal national organisation may join Parkour Earth even if they are not planning to become national governing bodies. Community members are legally recognised entities in their countries but are not actively looking to become national federations. This is the only tier of membership for which Parkour Earth is able to recognise multiple members from a country.

Community organisations may be large parkour coaching organisations that are working across multiple countries. They may be small local organisations working in a specific part of a nation who wish to be recognised as their own entity. Or they may be in countries where national recognition is contested between more than one group. Irrespective, community organisations gain many of the benefits of Parkour Earth membership such as invitations to contribute to discussions and events.

As a result of our constitution, community organisations don’t have voting rights, but we are still keen to include them in conversations and this is a great way for Parkour Earth to equip you with the tools to form national bodies where it is appropriate.
